By installing a new and very expensive state of the art insulated shutter manufacturing line, Conqueror has again demonstrably proven, they are very serious in their endeavour to provide the most comprehensive range of Industrial, commercial and residential garage doors.

Branded the “Conqueror Insulated Whisper Shutter“, this new door is exceptionally quiet in both operation and during those awful high winds, that Australasia suffers only too frequently.

Conqueror’s operations manager Royd Stott says the “Insulated Whisper Shutter” has many unique and optional features, including double width aluminium side guides with dual mohair seals, restricting the entry of dirt, dust and other undesirable atmospheric elements.

These doors are as a result of their construction are not only the strongest roller shutter doors on the market, they also offer the ultimate in insulation efficiency, as result of the closed cell polyurethane insulation encased in double skinned 98mm pre-painted steel slats.

Minimal maintenance costs and safety piece of mind are both assured with the new purposely designed spring - less technology coupled to the European designed dual braking system.

Fast and robust

Due to the horizontal folding movement of the high-speed folding doors, the full clearance height is immediately completely free. Doors of the F series open with high speeds and are extremely heavy-duty. They protect against noise and draft air, save energy and convince with good heat and sound insulating properties.

Individual design

High-speed folding doors by EFAFLEX which are mainly used for closing whole buildings are one aspect of modern industrial architecture. Thanks to the large number of design possibilities, your high-speed folding door can be adjusted to every facade.

The folding door for inside and outside use

The EFA-SFT® perfectly combines functionality and esthetics. Due to its patented modular design, it only requires few repair and maintenance. Especially large doors are equipped with special door stoppers in order to additionally stabilise the middle area of the closed wing.

From outside, everything is facade

As far as the equipment options of the EFA-SFT® are concerned, it is the most diverse high-speed door by EFAFLEX. There are numerous possibilities for adjusting the EFA-SFT® optimally to every kind of facade - variable options are wing partition, the layout of the bars and the panels. The surface of the door leaf can be anodised in the colours of the Eloxal table or be powder-coated in all RAL-colours, just as you like it.

Internal qualities matter as well

The EFA-SFT® consists of aluminium and steel, a combination which guarantees highest quality standard. The supporting parts of the EFA-SFT® are as a standard made of galvanised steel sheet. The door leaf consists of anodised, corrosion-free aluminium and is equipped with single-walled acrylic glass which allows much daylight to enter the building. As option, double-walled thermopane glazing guarantee an excellent heat insulation of the high-speed folding doors.

No more waiting: the EFA-SFT® speeds up

Even an EFA-SFT® with a width and height of several metres can achieve speeds of up to 2.5 m/s. Inside, this advantage ensures a smooth and efficient workflow. Outside, the enormous speed helps in saving energy during opening and closing.

Power and reliability

Doors of the F series are as a standard equipped with a robust pneumatic drive. This powerful drive has proved many thousand times and was developed until it was perfect. The drive easily performs one million loadings and more. If you cannot provide compressed air supply, we can also supply your high-speed folding door with an electric motor.

Closed at the touch of a button - also from a distance

The EFA-SFT® can be equipped with a comfortable remote locking. It is operated from the control cabinet or by means of an external key switch. If necessary, the door can be unlocked from inside by means of a lever and be opened manually.

Curtain

Extruded aluminium interlocking door slats fitted with nylon endlocks to control lateral movement & reduce noise & friction.The screen can be perforated for vision or ventilation if required.

Bottom Rail

Extruded Aluminium Section incorporating a mohair brush strip underneath to prevent damaging the floor or counter top surfaces. Bottom rail is designed to retract flush with ceiling or lintel when door is opened. Two point double sided deadlocking for security allows keyed access from either side of door. Internal thumb turn locking optional.

Guides

Extruded Aluminium channel 30mm wide x 50mm deep, fixed conventionally behind door jambs or recessed into wall. Flared at top for smooth entry at screen.

Barrel

200mm diameter door drum for minimal deflection of door screen across opening.Torsion springs calculated to balance screen weight for lightweight operation.

Motorising

Several options available in single or 3 phase models. Additional clearances required, refer to separate data sheets. Optional extras include UPS Battery Backup (single phase), External Keyswitch & Remote Control.

Mullions

Removable mullions are used to separate multiple doors in cases of very wide or angled openings when full access is required.The door tracks being removable leaving opening unobstructed.

Standard Finish

Satin Silver Anodised Aluminium. Powder coating of a wide range of colours available as an optional extra. Maximum recommended size for manual doors is 3600 wide x 3000 high. Contact us for recommendations over this size.

These are designed to facilitate entry or exit from the building without having to open the roller shutter door. Pedestrian doors are also available.

Sliding Mullions

Sliding mullions are the perfect solution where a very wide opening is required, such as a truck turning bay or an aircraft hangar. The sliding mullions are positioned between two or more doors and slide away to the side when not in use.

Security Wind Bars

Designed for very high wind conditions, the wind bar is positioned in the middle behind the door preventing the screen from blowing in.

Powder Coat Finish

Choose from a large range of powder coat colours. Anti-graffiti coatings are also available.

Manual Operation

Manual operation is by hand chain driving steel sprockets connected to a spring assisted barrel. Manual operated doors can easily be motorised at a later date if required. Spring balanced operation doors are available on smaller size shutters.
